Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using SellerShield (the "Service"), operated by TechSeventeen Solutions. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

SellerShield is a paid desktop application for Meesho sellers that provides return verification, claim management, PDF order filtering, packet scanning, customer tracking, and a unified dashboard. The Service consists of:

• A Windows desktop application that runs locally on your computer.
• An authentication server operated by us, used solely to verify your login and subscription status.
• An optional Cloud Add-on (launching soon) for cross-device data sync and backup.

SellerShield is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meesho Internet Pvt Ltd in any way.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a registered Meesho seller or an authorised representative of one to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

• SellerShield is offered on a subscription basis with the following billing cycles: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months. Current pricing is published on our Pricing page and is subject to change with notice.
• All prices are in INR and exclusive of 18% GST unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions are tied to a single account and a configurable number of simultaneous tabs/devices, as agreed at signup. Using the Service beyond your configured limit may result in additional tabs being locked until you upgrade or close a tab.
• Until our online payment gateway is live, subscriptions are activated after manual payment confirmation (UPI/bank transfer) coordinated via WhatsApp or email.
• Once integrated, our payment gateway will handle online checkout, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.
• Plans are expected to auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle once online payments are available; you will be notified before any automatic renewal is introduced. Until then, renewal is manual and we will contact you ahead of your plan's expiry.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation requests, refund eligibility, and processing timelines are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including non-payment of subscription fees.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SellerShield only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to process returns or claims for orders that are not legitimately yours.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or third-party systems.
• Share your account credentials beyond your subscribed tab/device limit.
• Use the Service to circumvent Meesho's policies or platform rules.

7. Local Data Responsibility

Scan records, claim evidence, and customer history are stored locally on your computer in the ~/MeeshoScan/ folder. You are responsible for:

• The security of your own computer (antivirus, OS updates, access control).
• Backing up this data — until the Cloud Add-on is available, no automatic off-device backup is performed.
• Compliance with applicable data protection laws regarding any customer information you store.

8. Software Updates

SellerShield updates automatically and silently in the background to deliver bug fixes, security patches, and new features. You acknowledge that the app may periodically download and install updates without separate notice.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and materials in SellerShield are the property of TechSeventeen Solutions. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your business during your active subscription period. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Service without written permission.

The name "Meesho" is a registered trademark of Meesho Internet Pvt Ltd. SellerShield is an independent third-party tool and makes no claim to that trademark.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
• Barcode scanning will successfully detect every barcode in every lighting condition.
• Meesho's website or panel integration will always function as expected (Meesho may update their platform at any time).

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLERSHIELD OR TECHSEVENTEEN SOLUTIONS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SUBSCRIPTION FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SellerShield and TechSeventeen Solutions from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

13. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Where a change materially affects your active subscription, we will provide reasonable notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, particularly as our payment gateway integration is completed. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
